Reconhecimento da Antiguidade na Empresa dos Tripulantes de Cabine da easyJet em Portugal / easyJet Portuguese Cabin Crew Seniority Recognition

Caros Colegas e Associados,  

No seguimento dos últimos acontecimentos e das reuniões de esclarecimento do SNPVAC, surgiu por parte de alguns associados, a necessidade de voltarmos à mesa de negociação com a easyJet, antes mesmo do prazo estipulado em acordo de empresa (AE), e tratarmos de forma prioritária o tema do pagamento por antiguidade.

Como sabemos, desde sempre a easyJet rejeitou o pedido de reconhecimento da antiguidade na empresa aos tripulantes portugueses, argumentando que o mesmo não era aplicado em nenhum país onde a easyJet possui base operacional e que, portanto, não era política da empresa. Este mesmo argumento foi usado aquando das últimas negociações do AE, tendo a autoridade reguladora – DGERT - servido como mediadora e testemunha desta mesma aparente intransigência da empresa.

Tendo em conta esta postura da easyJet, ficamos bastante surpreendidos quando vimos os colegas de França, Alemanha, Holanda e Suíça verem a sua antiguidade na empresa reconhecida em AE e os tripulantes Portugueses continuarem a ser discriminados e menosprezados.

Perante esta realidade, consideramos que este é um motivo mais do que válido para instigar a empresa a voltar à mesa das negociações, ainda este ano, e tratarem este tema com a máxima prioridade.

Sendo assim, solicitamos a todos os colegas que estejam de acordo com esta iniciativa, que assinem este abaixo-assinado para, assim, termos mais força e dotarmos o SNPVAC de mais argumentos para conseguirmos fazer chegar esta nossa frustração e conseguirmos combater esta diferença de tratamento e esta postura injustificada da empresa para com os tripulantes Portugueses.

Compreendemos que este tema poderá não representar o interesse individual de alguns trabalhadores, mas com certeza que o será no futuro, por isso pedimos que o façam até dia 27 de Maio, para que esta proposta seja apresentada pelo SNPVAC à empresa já na próxima reunião dia 29 de Maio de 2025.

Dear Colleagues and Union Members,  

In lieu of the most recent developments and after SNPVACs Q&A sessions, the need to sit at the negotiation table with easyJet, although before the expected time, has arrived, in order for us to reach an agreement in relation to seniority payment.

As we know, from the beginning easyJet has refused to acknowledge the request of recognition of length of service to the Portuguese cabin crew, justifying it by arguing that the same was not in place in any other countries where easyJet has an operational base, and therefore it was not company policy. This same argument was used when negotiating the last CLA in front of the regulating authority - DGERT - who served as a mediator and witnessed this inflexibleness from the company.

Knowing easyJets position regarding this topic, we were extremely surprised when colleagues from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland, saw their length of service recognized in CLA while the Portuguese cabin crew continued to be discriminated and disregarded. Due to this reality, we consider that this is more than a valid reason to instigate the company to return to the negotiations table, still in the present year, and deal with this subject with maximum priority.            

We request from all colleagues that agree with this initiative, to sign this petition so that we can be stronger and empower SNPVAC with more tools to demonstrate our frustration and fight this differential treatment and unjustified posture from the company towards Portuguese cabin crew.            

We understand this subject might not represent the individual goals of some cabin crew, but for sure it will in the future, so we ask that you co-sign this petition up to the 27th of May, so that SNPVAC can present it to the company on their next meeting which takes place on the 29th of May, 2025.
